Tim Roche

Tim retired from corporate roles in December 2022. He enjoyed an eclectic career journey with the first 20 plus years on a path of self-discovery, trying to understand his career sweet spot. These years covered off two stints of self-employment. The first instance was disastrous and ended in 1991 with the recession that we had to have and the later stint relatively successful. In addition to this he spent ten years in the transport sector with a key focus on Industrial Relations and three years in the then named Federal Department of Industrial Relations assisting with IR issues associated with government privatisations. I finally found that career sweet spot in 1999 and spent the next 23 years in the career management space with the final four years as brand leader across Asia-Pac and the Middle East for a leading global brand.

One Interesting Fact about Tim - during a summer break at University, he hitchhiked from Canberra to Cooktown and back with his girlfriend. Now that’s some trip!
