When Fiona is at home, you’ll find her putting her negotiation skills to good use with her busy husband, stubborn dog and three articulate young adult children.

Fiona’s values of integrity, respect and generosity are clear to everyone around her, and she’s admired for them!

Fiona is an accomplished management consultant and mediator with more than 25 years’ experience in consulting and program management. Today her specialisation is in building consensus, resolving disputes and helping people achieve their goals by learning negotiation skills.

At Resolving Matters, she works with public and private organisations to build capability in successfully managing complex negotiations.  Fiona manages commercial negotiations, trains teams in negotiation skills, conducts mediations, and facilitates complex workshops.

Fiona draws on proven frameworks as well as her own models of negotiation, which have been developed through training, research and practical experience. She has worked extensively in the Defence, Health and Education sectors, and with consumer products, technology and energy corporations. 

Fiona is a nationally accredited mediator, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Masters in Business Administration, for which she was awarded the University medal.
